GRAYSC is a studio for art documentation, led by photographer Philip Poppek. Since 2014 we have photographed exhibitions, art fair booths and artworks for galleries, museums and collectors — from Gropius Bau and Centre Pompidou to Art Basel, Frieze and TEFAF.

Our approach is precise rather than interpretive: true colour, clean geometry, and images that work equally well in a catalogue, an archive, a sales PDF and on social media. We shoot in high resolution and deliver colour-managed files to the highest standard. At fairs, final images are delivered within 24 hours — usually sooner.

With a network of trusted photographers in Brussels, Paris, Berlin and New York, we cover several venues at once. We work in English, French and German.
